Find the invoice for your faktoora fee charges
Where to find the invoices for your faktoora plan fees and what to do if there is no invoice for a billing period.
A separate invoice document is generated for every charge of your faktoora fees. This article shows where you can find these invoices and what the reason may be if there is none for a particular period.
Where the invoices are
You can find the invoices for your subscription in your faktoora account in the "Payment and plan" section, the same section in which you selected your plan (see Complete a subscription). A separate invoice document is stored there for each billed period.
You can also have your subscription invoices sent to you automatically by email. You decide in your account settings whether this happens and to which address; if the option is not enabled, the invoice is only stored in your account and not sent separately by email.
If there is no invoice for a period
An invoice is only generated once the corresponding billing period has ended or become due, so there is no invoice yet for the current period that has not been billed. No invoice is created for periods in which no billable plan was active (e.g. during a trial period) either, because no charge takes place in that case.
If an invoice is missing for a period in which, as far as you remember, a charge should have been made, the invoice may still be processing and appear shortly in the "Payment and plan" section. If it still does not appear, contact faktoora support and state the period concerned so that the billing can be checked.
Relation to the stored payment method
The charge itself is made using the payment method stored in your account (card or bank details for payment processing). How to change this payment method is described in the article Manage your subscription: cancellation, payment method and contract documents.
